Recap: TexWorld USA

This week Samantha had the opportunity to visit TexWorld USA at the Javits Convention Center in New York City. Held bi-annually, TexWorld provides the opportunity to meet with many different fabric vendors from around the globe. This event allows designers and buyers to get a glimpse into the trends and fabrics of the upcoming spring/summer season. With over 500 international exhibitors in attendance, this fabric trade show was surely one for the books!

Celebrating ten years of Texworld USA, Samantha and her team spent the day walking around Javits Center looking at inspiration for Collection III of SLNY. With a wide range of vendors from North America, Asia and the Middle East, Samantha looked at many fabrics to find the newest inspiration that would reflect art and architecture from all of the different countries represented at the show.

As a designer, Samantha is always on the look out of for new inspiration. Whether it’s a day spent in the showroom or walking the streets of New York City, creativity can spark at any moment! Attending TexWorld was a great way for Samantha to meet with the vendors in attendance and see the wide selection of fabrics as she begins the creative design process for Collection III.
